With Pusha T continuing to make a name for himself as one of Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music artists, SOHH recently talked to the Clipse member to see if he feels pressured to bring his “A” game.

Confident in his bars, Pusha assured SOHH and fans alike that he is the same artist he was when he first entered the rap scene.

“Nah man, I’m Pusha, man,” Pusha told SOHH when asked if he felt pressure to deliver amongst the likes of his G.O.O.D. Music family. “Kid Cudi has his lane, Big Sean has his lane, Kanye’s got his lane, Common has his lane, you know. We’re like multi-faceted diamonds. Everybody is a color. There’s so many colors that comes out of this G.O.O.D. Music diamond and I don’t feel pressure, I just do me. I made Hell Hath No Fury! [laughs] Are people serious? I’ve said the greatest sh*t throughout my career. [laughs] [People remember my Funkmaster Flex] freestyle, that’s just one. I’m gonna do 12 more of them sh*ts.” (SOHH)

Last month, The Neptunes’ Pharrell Williams predicted Pusha T’s G.O.O.D. Music run.

“I love it! They’ve been on their own for about three or four years now. And I think they’ve done a good job. In terms of their choices, they really stuck to their core in the face of like the wintertime and everybody else feeling like they got to go pop. You know, [Pusha] really stuck to his guns and I feel like the marriage of him and Kanye, I feel like that’s going to be incredible.” (XXL Mag)

Pusha cleared up speculation surrounding his G.O.O.D Music deal in mid-September.

“I’m definitely signed with G.O.O.D. Music. I’m definitely doing my solo project through G.O.O.D. Music,” the Virginia MC confirmed to MTV News’ Sway. “The Clipse is definitely coming with a new Clipse project. We’re definitely coming with the Re-Up Game project. The family is still here, man. It’s just all about G.O.O.D. Music, straight up.” (MTV)

G.O.O.D. Music affiliate GLC recently clarified speculation on whether or not the company was a record label.

“G.O.O.D Music isn’t a label for one; a lot of people have the misconception that G.O.O.D Music is a label but really it’s basically a family and like a production company. What they do is you get a distribution deal and if you’re a G.O.O.D Music artist, then you come out on G.O.O.D Music and the distribution deal. Whoever I decide to do my deal with it will be through G.O.O.D Music because I’m a G.O.O.D Music artist.” (Hip Hop DX)
