Jay Z is reportedly largely responsible for R&B wife Beyoncé’s new Lemonade album.
“Jay was involved in the creation of Lemonade and knew every song Bey was going to release. He knew the lyrics; he knew the implications. He had to approve the songs before release. Earlier this week, past Jay Z collaborator Mya shared her thoughts on Bey using Lemonade to allegedly blast Young Hov’s infidelity.
“That’s awful,” Mya said when informed about Bey allegedly accusing Jay Z of cheating on her Lemonade album. “Well, I can’t really speak on what another person does. But art is art. It’s definitely an expression of self, often truth. It can be. It can be free therapy. That’s what you sign up for when you enter the entertainment business. I don’t have anybody coming at me but I know what I’m not guilty of. I can’t really speak on what other people tell. Art is art. To each’s own.
