Grammy-winning producer Pharrell Williams has reportedly decided to put a ring on it and married longtime girlfriend Helen Lasichanh this weekend.
Details of the star-studded occasion started to surface Sunday (October 13).
Pharrell Williams is one lucky guy! The Grammy award-winning record producer tied the knot with his girlfriend model Helen Lasichanh on Saturday, Oct. 12, Us Weekly can confirm. The “Get Lucky” singer and his new bride exchanged vows in Miami, Fla. The newlyweds were feted by several famous pals, including Usher and Busta Rhymes. “Usher and Busta Rhymes did a mini concert at the wedding,” a source revealed to Us. “It was so fun. The little concert was amazing. It [was] the most fun wedding I’ve ever been to.” (Us Magazine)
The newlyweds also reportedly share a four-year-old son together.
Williams and Lasichanh are already parents to their 4-year-old-son Rocket. “[He’s the] best song that I’ve ever co-written,” the fashion designer said about his baby boy to TODAY show host Savannah Guthrie in August. “It’s awesome,” he said of his family. “I can’t tell anyone what to do. I can’t give anyone relationship advice. But the bestie thing is awesome. Every night is like a sleepover.” (Us Magazine)
Buzz behind what fashion choices they went with has also circulated.
Lasichanh, who is also the mother of the couple’s son Rocket, 4, and Pharrell were seen posing for wedding photos aboard a yacht named “Never Say Never.” The bride and groom stuck to their signature eclectic fashion sense, wearing plaid ensembles for the Terry Richardson shoot. They later tied the knot at the Kampong National Tropical Botanical Gardens in Coconut Grove, according to Just Jared. (New York Daily News)
Outside of romance, Pharrell has kept busy releasing new music.
The veteran producer scored a pair of massive hits this summer with Daft Punk‘s “Get Lucky,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100 chart, and Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines,” which topped Billboard’s Song of the Summer chart. Pharrell recently scored credits on Miley Cyrus‘ “Bangerz” album and Pusha T‘s solo debut “My Name Is My Name.” (Billboard)
