Nicki recently appeared on sports network ESPN to talk about her upcoming The Pinkprint solo album.

“Yes, I’m selling an album,” Nicki said during her appearance on ESPN. “It’s like an emotional love story and it’s all these amazing things I’ve been going through last year put on one album. [Will it be a real album?] Absolutely. And you’ll love it.” (ESPN)

According to reports, Nicki’s team tried to patch up the album’s release following a leak last week.

Fans rushed to listen to and download the tunes, which include a new collaboration with Beyonce, titled “Feeling Myself,” but her label reps have moved quickly to get the unauthorized tracks taken down from a number of online sources by filing copyright complaints. A message posted on Audiomack.com, in place of a stream of the superstar duet, reads: “This song has been removed from audiomack due to a DMCA complaint.” (San Fran Gate)

    • While Ive never liked Coles flow or him as an artist as he has absolutely no charisma or personality, I’m still flabbergasted with the numbers he keeps doing. But then again its Christmas and stocking fillers must be Cole’s way, pun intended. Roc nation def got his back.
D’Angelo I see you, and I like it!!!

      • Nah, e has a solid fan base. He has roughly done a little better each time, but it’s always around in the same ballpark. Selling albums these days is pretty much akin to selling tap water from a homeless person. People who buy it do so because they want to support him or any artist. Why else would you buy something that even the labels are giving away for free with the streams they put up of albums?

        • He was right to take Nas’s advice. It’s amazing to see him mature and become successful.

  1. Swift got the most loyal fans in the world. Her album been out for months and she’s still outselling new releases. Expected at least 200k from Nicki.

  2. This might be the last time Nicki sells more than 100k. The curiosity is over and the stunts aren’t working as much anymore. It’s definitely a good thing to see Cole selling though as I would say that he does make decent music.
