Young Money’s Nicki Minaj recently talked about hitting the studio and hinted at an upcoming collaboration she promises will “rock some boats.”
Confirming her appearance on Lil Wayne‘s upcoming Tha Carter IV album, Minaj kept tight-lipped about a new collabo.
“I had to hand in a Carter IV verse. I handed in a verse to Birdman, and I handed in a verse to a very special lady that I think is gonna rock people’s world,” she told MTV News. “I love keeping secrets,” Nicki added, smiling. “That [last] one is gonna rock some boats.” (MTV)
A few weeks ago, Minaj revealed her intent to stop doing collaborations for two years.
“I’m done with the collabs,” Minaj revealed in an interview. “No more collabs for the next two years. [Britney Spears?] Oh yeah. [smiles] Britney’s a snatch like me and she’s cute. Yes. We might could do something.” (Hip Hollywood)
In addition to reportedly being cast in an upcoming film called Charge It To The Game, Minaj is also in talks with reality show competition “X-Factor.”
“I’m just extremely happy that L.A. [Reid] will be joining me,” executive producer Simon Cowell said in an interview. “He’s really almost like a producer on the show, now…We’ve spoken to [Nicki] but we’ve met so many people that’s it’s just a long, exhausting process that we have to deal with. It’ll be announced in the next week. We were actually introduced a few weeks ago.” (VIBE)
