Young Money's Nicki Minaj has finally come clean on how she managed to share microphone time with music icon Beyoncé Knowles-Carter for their unexpected "Flawless" remix. #undressed
Nicki revealed Queen Bey came through in-person and asked her to let loose on the new single.
“I was in New York recording it and she came by and she was telling me to be myself, to go all in,” she explained. “And I did. I was afraid to let her hear it, actually. It’s risqué, I guess.” In the interview, Minaj touched on new track “Bang Bang” with Jessie J and Ariana Grande (“It just felt iconic to me”), the leak of “Anaconda” (it was originally planned for Aug. 11 before the Friday leak) and confirmed a worldwide tour for 2015 that, she says, will feature an artist “my fans love.” (Radio)
Queen Bey steals attention from Ms. Minaj with a surprising reference to the now-infamous elevator attack from sister Solange on her rap star husband Jay Z.
The standout line is Beyonce’s declaration, “Of course sometimes shit goes down when there’s a billion dollars on an elevator,” a once-and-for-all ending on that infamous elevator tussle between Jay Z and Solange. (Hollywood Reporter)

This isn’t the first time Bey has changed up lyrics. Toward the beginning of the “On The Run” tour with hubby Jay Z, she altered the words to “Resentment” in a way that many thought suggested the rap mogul had cheated. (KSAT)
