Minaj threatened to expose the scammer’s name via Twitter.

“what is this i’m hearing about a MSU concert? where and when is this concert supposed to be? i feel so bad 4 ppl who were scammed,” she tweeted Wednesday.

“i tell u guys all the time, if u don’t see me tweet about it, its not real. i’m gonna figure out the b*stards behind this MSU scam.”

“FOR THE RECORD. I’M NOT DOING ANY SHOWS BETWEEN NOW AND THE 22ND OF OCTOBER. WEN SHOWS R CONFIRMED I’LL LET U GUYS KNOW. I’M SORRY”

“wen i find out the person responsible for this MSU scam i’m putting their name on twitter. scamming college kids? go to h*ll!” (Nicki Minaj’s Twitter)

Ticket sales for Minaj at MSU were posted on the school’s Twitter page last week.

“Stay tuned for information about **Nicki Minaj** concert ticket sales!!! Info coming soon!!!,” a tweet read from September 15th.

“It’s official: Tickets for the Nicki Minaj Concert (10/8) will go on sale Wednesday, 9/22, 8:30am-2pm, SC Quad….http://fb.me/FgwLmZPP” (MSU CSI’s Twitter)

Last week, Minaj did, however, surprise fans with a performance at Jay-Z‘s Yankee Stadium concert.

During “Run This Town,” Jay asked, “Where you at, boy?” And out came 2010 VMA closer Kanye West in a red suit. The roar was thunderous for the Louis Vuitton Don, who also rocked a huge gold link chain. They followed up with the first live performance of the “Power” remix — where all 50,000-plus people did the soulful “power clap” — and “Monster.” There was no Rick Ross on the latter, but ‘Ye and Hov brought out Nicki Minaj, who was showered with love from her hometown. Jay’s next guest was Bronx native Swizz Beatz, who was also celebrating his birthday. What a present! (MTV)

Minaj recently talked about dedicating her time to the upcoming release of Pink Friday.

“[Young Money] won’t look to sign other female rappers if the project doesn’t do well, because they’re going to say, ‘Well, her buzz was so crazy, and if she couldn’t do it, then no one can do it,’ and I don’t want that to happen. So I’m doing this as well for all the girls…I hope it will open doors for all girls everywhere who ever wanted to pick up a mic and rap and who have been kind of afraid to do it…For a long time in my life, I was afraid to be a solo female rapper, because everyone told me, ‘It doesn’t work. It’s not going to happen. Record companies are never going to invest in you just to get it. Just be part of a group.’ … Even as far as I’ve come now is already a testament in my mind, so I hope the female rappers understand how big it is for our culture that the album does well.” (V-103)
