According to Nicki, five hundred million dollars is the key number to a semi-retirement.

“I was just kind of being funny because people always ask me when are you going to slow down so I figured to think of like an astronomical amount of money and tell them that so they would stop asking me. So, whenever I make $500,000,000,” Nicki said. (Just Jared)

Nicki also touched on the importance of building a family.

“I will have a family even if I don’t have $500,000,000 but if I’m not taking a break for family it would have to be because of $500,000,000,” she added. “I know but I want a cute little fat baby. Not now, but one day I want a little cute fat baby.” (Just Jared)

Nicki recently appeared on sports network ESPN to talk about her upcoming The Pinkprint solo album.

“Yes, I’m selling an album,” Nicki said during her appearance on ESPN. “It’s like an emotional love story and it’s all these amazing things I’ve been going through last year put on one album. [Will it be a real album?] Absolutely. And you’ll love it.” (ESPN)

According to reports, Nicki’s team tried to patch up the album’s release following a leak last week.

Fans rushed to listen to and download the tunes, which include a new collaboration with Beyonce, titled “Feeling Myself,” but her label reps have moved quickly to get the unauthorized tracks taken down from a number of online sources by filing copyright complaints. A message posted on Audiomack.com, in place of a stream of the superstar duet, reads: “This song has been removed from audiomack due to a DMCA complaint.” (San Fran Gate)

        • You still need to remain somewhat relevant. I am sure Jay doesn’t huge amount from his own music but he’s still relevant .

          • It’s silly to compare Dr. Dre to Nicki Minaj. Not anywhere did I write musically relevant. Although I think it’s close to impossible for Dr. Dre to be irrelevant music wise due to his catalog, he’s still “Dr. Dre.” Nicki Minaj is more Vanilla Ice than say a Dr. Dre. She’s more the product of a fad than anything else. Why do you think Jordan brand is the most popular with Nike?

    • She’s not as big as you think she is. Look at the people who’s made half a billion and look at her.

      • exactly, a lot of management fees, advisor fees etc. Then taxes. Shes seeing excellent money per year but not how we would think

        • Yes. Using the word “hating” sums up your intelligence. Could it be that I’m just making a logical observation?

          • Plz man you trying to sound smart on a hip hop site blog. Pipe down man this is not school nor did I ever claim to be super intelligent. I’m must commenting and having fun with fellow commenters lol.

          • I apologize if I apply logic to every platform I speak on. Ha you out here calling people haters but Ok whatever makes you feel better.

  1. This article turned out to be pointless. For me personally Id fall off the planet if i had anything over 25 Million

  2. Nicki probably won’t reach that height for a couple of reasons. First she’s a black female and she needs to make some major deals outside of music to be worth that type of money. The main reason is that as big as she is, she’s no Beyonce or say a Madonna name wise. To have that global appeal, you really can’t be a black female rapper which is probably why she tries to make pop music. You never know though as I don’t consider 50 an industry type of guy and he’s made some good deals.
