BET has announced the nominees for the 2014 BET Awards. Beyoncé and Jay Z take the lead with four nominations each. Beyoncé is nominated for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Collaboration (“Drunk In Love”), and Video of the Year twice (“Partition,” “Drunk In Love”). BET executive Stephen Hill issued a statement on the upcoming big celebration last month.

“This year’s nominees represent the best of the culture,” says Stephen Hill, BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials via a press release. “It’s great to see our talented new artist’s right alongside our more beloved ones with long careers.
