Young Money's Nicki Minaj has offered her condolences to Waka Flocka Flame and Debra Antney after the shocking news of family member Kayo Redd losing his life over the weekend.
Minaj revealed her shocked reaction to Kayo’s death with an Instagram post of the late musician.
“Devastated by the loss of this precious soul… Always so sweet to me… I cant even… Sending prayers and all my love to Deb, Waka, Wooh, Quam, Big Joe, Bimmy, the entire fam… Gone too soon Kayo… Gone way too soon.,” Nicki posted December 29. (Nicki Minaj’s Instagram)
While an autopsy is expected to likely take place later this week, reports suggest Redd may have committed suicide.
12:01 PM PT — Police investigating Kayo’s death tell TMZ all evidence now points to suicide — a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Henry County P.D. says the body of Kayo — aka Caodes Scott — was discovered last night in the Georgia subdivision where he lived. The autopsy will be conducted later today. Sources tell TMZ an autopsy will be performed today or tomorrow. (TMZ)

Several sources close to Waka Flocka Flame confirm that the rapper’s younger brother died on Sunday, RumorFix is reporting. However there are conflicting reports on how Kayo Redd, who was an aspiring rapper, died. Some reports say he was murdered, others say he committed suicide. RumorFix has put out calls to authorities in Henry County, Georgia where the young man lived. (RumorFix)
