Young Money's Nicki Minaj may be leaving a lump amount of men sad in the near future with her announcement of ending a nationwide run of lap dances.
Minaj said the grinding fiasco would soon stop as she prepares for another upcoming tour.
“This will be my last round of lap dances,” Minaj revealed in an interview. “When I go [out] with Britney [Spears], no more lap dances…The [alias] that comes out with the lap dances on stage, I think that’s Lap Dance Nika. Let’s call her Lap Dance Nika. Some of my fans, my Team Minaj Barbz, they’ve called me that sometimes on Twitter, so I thought it was cute, so we’ll call her Lap Dance Nika.” (Power 106)
Prior to giving lap dances to fans and NBA superstars like Steve Nash and Chris Paul, Minaj raised eyebrows after grinding on Lil Wayne.
Nicki Minaj usually treats one male fan to a lap dance during her concerts, but the crowd was in for a surprise when that man happened to be Lil Wayne. Young Money’s First Lady (and her jaw-dropping booty) danced up on a grinning Weezy during the “I Am Music II” tour stop at Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum on Sunday (March 27). He was so overcome by the experience that he eventually fell out of his chair. Now that’s a moment for life. (Rap-Up)
She later came forward and revealed how nerve-racking the experience was.
“Well, I have to say, I been giving lap dances [during the tour], but I didn’t know Wayne was gonna jump out and pop out the back,” Nicki told MTV News. “I literally was up there trying to get a boy, then I turn around and I see this cute little dread in the chair with his legs dangling off. And I was like, ‘What?’ I was super nervous.” (MTV)
Minaj and Britney Spears hit the road around mid-June.
Sources involved in the negotiation tell TMZ … the deal was signed several days ago, and Britney is elated. Everyone involved in the concert is relieved Enrique Iglasias‘ ego couldn’t handle opening for Britney and feel Nicki will be infinitely better. Minaj, who is on tour with Lil Wayne until the end of the month, currently has two singles on the Billboard Top 100 — “Moment 4 Life” and “Did It On’em” Everyone connected with the concert series things Nicki will create even more heat for the tour, which kicks off on June 17 in Sacramento, CA.
