Young Money star Nicki Minaj appears unfazed by getting labeled a pop-rapper as of late, showing off her vocal skills and getting too close for comfort in Justin Bieber's new "Beauty and a Beat" music video.
The steamy clip hit the Internet Friday (October 12) and features Nicki and the Biebs making a splash in a pool setting.

Justin Bieber just released the visuals to his electro-pop hit “Beauty and a Beat,” and a certain scene will leave you cringing at the edge of your seat. The video, written and directed by Bieber himself, features the pop star frolicking through a pool party as guests break out in impromptu dance numbers. The camera eventually travels down a runway where Nicki Minaj makes her cameo. While rapping her animated verse, Justin gets behind the Barbz and the two grind in sync for what feels like forever. And only adding insult to injury, Justin then sings to Nicki, “I wanna feel your body rock.” (Miss Info TV)
Bieber reportedly used a publicity stunt to help premiere the music video.

The stolen-gear claims made by Bieber and his label were all part of a coordinated publicity stunt designed to pique your interest in the video for “Beauty and the Beat,” his Believe collaboration with Nicki Minaj. “On October of 2012 three hours of personal footage was stolen from musician Justin Bieber,” the video hosted on Bieber’s official Vevo account reads . “The following footage was illegally uploaded by an anonymous blogger.” In fact, the clip features DIY-style scenes of a massive waterpark party, complete with beer pong, babes, and, of course, Ms. Minaj, the sudden queen of dubiously leaked videos. Last year, Nicki and Biebs linked up to announce nominees at the BET Awards.

While fans can expect to hear both Heartbreak Drake and Ms. Minaj on Tha Carter IV, it’s the two Justin’s that Weezy F. also talks about. “That’s my little homie now,” Wayne says of The Biebs. “He texts me every night asking me to do [his] d*mn song. That’s my n*gga, but I can’t do it. Like I said, I don’t want to f*ck his sh*t up. But like I said, I want to work with Justin Timberlake. That boy got a voice; that boy can sing.
