Writing on Twitter, Minaj denied linking with the youngster to record her vocals.

“I did NOT do the whip my hair rmx. Sum1 took an OLD verse and put it on the song. :/ original song was called “lookin at me” a year ago,” she tweeted Wednesday (October 7). (Nicki Minaj’s Twitter)

The track began circulating across the Internet earlier this week.

Duets don’t come much more 2010 than this. Yes, someone up above was listening to Popdash’s dreams these past few months and has made the ultimate cartoon pop duet happen. Details on the remix’s producer was also revealed.

Nicki Minaj joins forces with Will and Jada Smith‘s nine year old prodigious daughter Willow Smith for this sassy “Whip My Hair” remix, produced by Jukebox. The debut single from her forthcoming album on Roc Nation, Willow shot the accompanying music video last month [directed by Ray Kay] – obviously going to whisk up an almighty storm when it drops [see what i didn’t do there?]. Southern rapper Rick Ross recently shared his admiration toward Willow.

“It’s incredible, I was like wow, she’s can’t be nine,” Ross said with a smile. “It can’t be true. But you know, every so often, you find a true ball of talent and that’s what that is. She’s a young beautiful superstar, it’s just written all over her face and just to hear the record, it’s crazy.” (Rap-Up TV)
