The radio host responded to Cannon, promising to retort with his own diss.

“I’m bout to listen to this Nick Cannon diss record….pray for me.,” Char tweeted October 3rd.

“I’ve had Chingy and Nick Cannon both diss me in records. SMH. I gotta do better…as much sh*t as I talk about people who can actually rap?”

“I’m bout to call Ray J to ghostwrite me a rant. I’m tired of being humble and lowkey……” (Charlamagne Tha God’s Twitter)

Charlamagne’s Power 105.1 morning show co-host Angela Yee also co-signed Cannon’s record.

A few months ago, Cannon talked to SOHH about having fun with hip-hop.

“This is really entertainment, what happened to when we were having fun in hip-hop,” Cannon asked SOHH. “If I can wave that flag like, ‘I’m that dude that can have fun in hip-hop,’ then I don’t mind being the corny dude. I have no problems with that. I’ve accomplished everything I’ve wanted to do by having a good time and doing it with a smile. So, I’m just trying to give people an alternative.” (SOHH)
