NBA champion Tony Parker has reportedly been offered $500,000 to put on his own referring attire and control a potential boxing match between Young Money's Drake and R&B star Chris Brown.
While Breezy and Drizzy would receive a few million bucks each, Parker would get a fraction of the amount to referee.
Celebrity Boxing’s Damon Feldman has already offered Brown and Drake $5 million each to fight in a three, 1-minute round boxing match. Now Feldman tell us he desperately wants Parker to get involved. “I am looking to have Tony be the referee; it’s a natural choice. We are willing to give Parker $500,000 and $500,000 to a charity of his choice if he takes the job.” Feldman is hoping for the fight to take place in October, but neither Drake or Brown have formally accepted the terms of the match. Boxing promoter Damon Feldman tells the newspaper that billionaire bottling heir Alki David has offered to bankroll the bout and that he’ll sweeten the purse with an extra $1 million for charity if the two agree to lace up the gloves and fight one on one. The club is also facing a $20 million lawsuit from NBA star Tony Parker over injuries he sustained in the fight. The suit centers around many of the same charges the club is facing from the liquor authority: they didn’t do enough to stop the fight, they didn’t have enough security working when the fight started, and they should have known better than to let two guys who’ve publicly feuded for the same girl into the club at the same time. Parker was in the V.I.P. section when the fight broke out, and suffered an injury to his cornea in the ensuing melee.
