New York rap veteran Nas just went down memory lane. The hip-hop pioneer has penned an open note reflecting on his upbringing and revealing the impact fellow rap great MC Shan‘s “The Bridge” had on him.

Last month, rap heavyweight Rick Ross shouted out Nas’ greatness.
In mid-February, Ricky Rozay discussed his overall admiration for Nas.

It brought me back to a conversation we had, we were just on some rap sh*t. He brought up a line that I said on Deeper Than Rap album.
