Music pioneer Quincy Jones wants the world to know Jay Z did much more than just enter the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The iconic producer, who has worked with some of the music biz’s biggest entertainers, issued a public statement on Young Hov’s impact on pop culture.

Jones went to Instagram Friday (June 16) to publicly salute Young Hov and even referenced the hip-hop mogul becoming a dad again.

Roc Nation’s Wale went to IG last night to put some respect on Young Hov’s name.

Last night, Jigga’s Twitter feed exploded with ample name-drops and salutations to music biz’s biggest – and smallest – entertainers.

Earlier in the day, Jay’s companies TIDAL and Roc Nation celebrated his induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
