Music industry legend Irving Azoff is either trying to spark a bromance or really rally behind Team Yeezy after publicly calling out late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel for poking fun at Kanye West in a parody clip earlier in the week.
The entertainment industry veteran jumped onto his Twitter page to publicly scold Kimmel heading into the weekend.
“Hey @jimmykimmel @kanyewest kicked your ass. You look like a joke trying to exploit this.,” he tweeted September 27.
“. @jimmykimmel your low blow comment was uncalled for and shows that you still don’t understand the big time.” (Irving Azoff’s Twitter)
In addition to re-tweeting Azoff’s remark, Ye left a few final tweets onto his page about Jimmy.
“COMMENT FROM JIBRIL DURIMEL: “I’m really Against what Jimmy K. did with that parody.””
“”Like Kanye said – Finally someone speaks some inspirational and real words that haven’t been exposed in a while and JK comes out with this””
“”It’s simple, mediocre dreamers think this is humorous but all Kanye is pretty much saying in the interview is to dream to be the best.””
“”A god”. But then he’s made out to be ridiculous for wanting to be at an even higher level of self confidence.””
“”Exactly what he meant by “SELF HATE!” I don’t want to dick ride KANYE just saying that if more people actually listened””
“”they’d grow wiser after listening to the interview.””
“”Jimmy K. is the EVIL guy trying to keep people in a box and not want more out of themselves. He does this by making fun of real dreamers.””
“”THE NEW ROCKSTARS! No but really please think about what i’m saying.”” (Kanye West’s Twitter)
Azoff is known for making a name for himself in the music and entertainment world.
No less a music biz legend than Irving Azoff has come to the defense of Kanye West in the Jimmy Kimmel story. Seriously no one knows what the ‘big time’ is than Azoff. He ran Live Nation and Front Line Management, has managed the Eagles, Steely Dan and lots of other big names- many of whom he created. (Showbiz 411)
Mr. West hopped onto his Twitter page late Thursday night to spark the Twitter feud.
“JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS,” Ye tweeted September 26.
“JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON’T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…. YOU DON’T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER”
“JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P*SSY IN YOUR LIFE…”
“YOU CAN’T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY… IS THAT FUNNY?… OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???”

“SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!” (Kanye West’s Twitter)
Instead of keeping quiet, Jimmy only added fuel to the fire with a handful of funny responses.
“apparently @KanyeWest is VERY VERY ANGRY with me….,” Jimmy tweeted.
“if it’s not too much trouble @kanyewest, would you mind using @jimmykimmel ? Thanks”
“I like you too! Glad we cleared this up. RT @kanyewest I LIKE YOU, YOU KNOW ME, I WENT TO YOUR FAMILY’S WEDDING”
“I know! #WreckItRalph, right?! RT @kanyewest ARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!”
“I’ll tell you the whole story about @kanyewest tonight on the show – this is not a prank, I promise (unless it’s being played on me)”

“. @joshgroban @kanyewest you’ve done enough already http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Axzxe1a78E … ” (Jimmy Kimmel’s Twitter)
West’s issues with Kimmel stem from his re-creation of a recent BBC Radio 1 interview with a couple of kids.
Jimmy Kimmel has done it again and this time it’s on Kanye West’s BBC rant. The rapper did a radio interview with BBC’s Zane Lowe and discussed his frustrations with the industry and called himself the best celebrity in the world. The 36-year-old rapper declared himself number 1 in the world of Rock, “We culture. Rap is the new rock ‘n’ roll. We the rock stars…We the new rock stars and I’m the biggest of all of them. I’m the Number 1 rock star on the planet.” The rapper even went as far as claiming his work and influences to be revolutionary comparing himself to the King of Pop “there would be no Kanye West if it wasn’t for Michael Jackson.” Kimmel wasted no time and aired out the rapper’s dirty laundry with the kid version of the interview called, “Kanye Kid Re-Kreation” (MStarz)
