Popular MTV series “Dances From Tha Hood” returns this year, offering viewers the step-by-step moves from signature dances made famous in the 80’s.
Hosted by well-known hip-hop choreographer Lenaya “Tweetie” Straker, the third season aims for a retro look. This time out the show looks back by teaching old-school dances, including “The Cabbage Patch” and “The Alf,” which was named after the popular 80’s television show character.
With her wide variety of dance routines that show hot footwork like Lil’ Mama‘s ”Lip Gloss” dance and Chris Brown‘s “Toe Wop,” Tweetie’s track record also includes working with major acts like Jay-Z, Fergie and Destiny’s Child.
Produced by television personality Sway Calloway, the new season is packed with ten dance-filled episodes.
“Dances From Tha Hood” is currently available at MTV On Demand.
