Music network MTV has stepped forward to publicly respond to Ciara’s Twitter lashing following last night’s Billboard Music Awards.

MTV reached out to CiCi with an apology and promised to never let the same mistake happen again.

Last night (May 22), tensions boiled when music network MTV name-dropped CiCi and one-time rival Rihanna on Twitter.

Shortly after RiRi, Ciara went at the network with a few Twitter responses.

Rihanna stole the show last night with a jaw-dropping Billboard Music Awards performance.

Rihanna has silenced each and every one of her critics. The songstress – famed for hits such as Umbrella – left her haters struggling to find fault when she performed at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.
