Atlanta rapper Future is following the current trend of hip-hop artists proposing to high-profile female entertainers by asking R&B singer Ciara for her hand in marriage.
According to reports, Future popped the big question and sealed the deal with a 15-carat diamond ring.
R&B singer Ciara is engaged to her rapper beau Future. The couple’s publicist has confirmed that the hip-hop star proposed to the Goodies hitmaker over the weekend with a 15-carat diamond ring. The proposal took place in New York as the pair was out celebrating Ciara’s 28th birthday. The usually-private star went public with her romance earlier this year, and revealed she was keen to settle down with the rapper. She said, “I’m happy. I’m with somebody that makes me feel very comfortable in this setting. He’s my best friend, so we talk about a lot of stuff. At the right time, I’m looking forward to (having a family). (Toronto Sun)

Ciara has made no secret of her love for boo Future. Now the power couple has sparked pregnancy rumors after Cici’s latest performance, but they aren’t the first celebrity couple to fall victim to this. The YBF reports that the pregnancy speculations stem from Ciara looking a bit thicker after the 9th Annual Paper Magazine Nightlife Awards at Marquee in NYC. Ciara herself posted an Instagram photo of her look, which included a baggy, leather Anthony Vaccarello top. The YBF doesn’t believe the rumors and points that the singer’s outfit and pose may have inspired the pregnancy talk in the first place. (RapFix)
Reports also claimed Ciara’s style team have been making attempts to cover her stomach.
Paper magazine held a party at NYC’s Marque nightclub on Thursday evening (Oct. 17). The major rumor behind-the-scenes during the event was that Ciara is indeed pregnant. This according to her style team… members attempted to dress Ciara in a way that would “hide” her growing baby bump. I don’t know about this one guys. I’ll have to see it to believe it. Over the spring, CiCi suggested her past woes in high-profile relationships were a distant memory with Future in her life.
“I’m happy. I’m with somebody that makes me feel very comfortable in this setting,” she gushed. The decision to reveal more about her personal life was one that took time. “It’s just a whole new thing that’s happened within myself internally that’s kinda inspired me to do things differently,” she said. “I’ve been able to learn a lot over the past years of my life. I’ve tried things many different ways. I’m now in a place in my life where I’m so much more comfortable than I’ve ever been in my skin. I’ve learned that you gotta live your life for you. She also teased fans about what her and Future do with their spare time.
When they’re not in the studio, the couple enjoys just hanging out. “We do normal stuff. We go eat, go to the movies, and all that fun stuff. Earlier the same month, Ciara talked about her working relationship with the rapper.
“I love being aggressive at certain points in my records, and working with him helps me to tap into a different kind of aggressiveness, because he also has his own,” she added. “It’s a different perspective. Everything happened very organically on this record. There are the more pop-heavy songs, but there’s gonna be this super-hardcore urban bottom.
