Actor Laurence Fishburne's daughter, Montana, has reportedly checked herself into a California in-patient facility that specializes in addressing behavioral and mental illnesses.
According to reports, Montana will spend a full month at the facility.
Montana Fishburne — aspiring sex tape star and daughter of Laurence Fishburne — is checking herself into an inpatient facility that specializes in anger management, behavioral problems and mental illnesses … sources tell TMZ. We’re told the facility is in Southern California and Montana will be there at least 30 days. Sources say part of Montana’s stay will be devoted to anger issues, but she’ll also undergo diagnostic tests to determine if there are underlying behavioral or mental issues. (TMZ)
The 19-year-old star’s venture into the adult film industry recently sparked a reaction from 50 Cent.

But she used her father’s fame. Model/Rapper LoLa Monroe labeled the star’s excuse of trying to follow in Kim Kardashian‘s footsteps as “misguided”.
“It kind of doesn’t make sense to me because you got to kind of understand, I’m not saying what Kim Kardashian did was okay but there is a difference between having an intimate sex tape out and actually getting into porn. It’s totally different and when you compare it as Black women we’re received very, very different [treatment] from Caucasian women. So it’s a difference, but even with that being her explanation it really doesn’t make any sense. That’s just a misguided young girl. Terribly misguided.” (XXL Mag)
Last month, Montana penned an open letter to the public as a response to the criticism she’s received over her recent decision.
“I was the one who reached out to Vivid. [Male performer] Brian Pumper had nothing to do with getting me started. I did my first video with him, but that’s it. I chose Vivid because they are the best in the business and I wanted to go to the top seller. And they have released other movies with celebrity girls like Kendra, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. So, I wanted to go somewhere I knew I would be safe. People have it wrong. Doing porn is not about me becoming famous…it’s about becoming successful. Porn just happens to be the industry I was most interested in, so for critics to say I’m going about it the wrong way they are missing the point. I am making a buzz in the porn industry and in the mainstream, too. It’s leading me to more opportunities, so people can’t say that I’m not going to get anywhere.” (VIBE)

What the fuck is hip hop music supposed to sound like? What beat selection, what lyrical content, is it clever word play or story telling? Is it conscious social topics or sick metaphors and punch lines? In my opinion hip hop music is about broadcasting ghetto living. Is that not how it started all those years ago in the south Bronx? It’s sort of like the blues, and once a blues musician started getting more uptempo and making happy love songs their genre was no more blues but something else whether it be called jazz or rock n roll. So if you don’t stick to the format of what something was it becomes something else. In short, IF IT AIN’T ABOUT THE HOOD IT AIN’T HIPHOP…..but fuck the hood and hip hop.
