Miley Cyrus Catches Backlash Over French Montana Hook-Up: “I Know What Color My Skin Is”

Pop sensation Miley Cyrus is not apologizing for hooking up with Bad Boy’s French Montana and lacing his “Ain’t Worried About Nothin'” Excuse My French track with some new bars.

Miley hopped onto her Twitter page shortly after their in-studio teaser clip went viral and shut down her haters.

“#HaaaaaannnnaaaaMontana @FrencHMonTanA,” Miley tweeted August 12.

Footage of Miley and Montana hitting the studio and teasing fans with the “Ain’t Worried About Nothin'” preview surfaced online late Monday (August 12).

Miley Cyrus and French Montana linked up for a remix to the latter’s “Ain’t Worried ‘Bout Nothin,’ and fans were, er, treated to a preview of the track via a grainy iPhone video. Miley, who has been on quite the urban kick as of late, would like to remind you that this doesn’t mean she’s “a ratchet white girl.” She does, however, reference Migos’ “Versace” on the Montana remix. Any bets on whether or not she heard the ATL standouts’ track before Drake remixed it? (Huffington Post)

Back in April, Montana gushed over his bond with the 20-year-old actress/singer.

“That’s my dog. That’s my peoples. We became friends at the Clive Davis Grammy party. I was sitting there with Puff. She was sitting there with Wiz [Khalifa]. She just kept looking at me laughing, I kept on looking at her laughing. I said, “What you laughing at?” She said, “I know you high like me.” After that, we became mad cool. I went over to the studio, just kicking it — Yeah. We working on something now. That’s just cool peoples.” (MTV Hive)

Recently, Cyrus downplayed her “ratchet” image in light of her popular twerking videos.

She’s one of the most controversial young stars in the industry at the moment. But Miley Cyrus has opened up in a new interview, insisting that most views of her are entirely misconceived. The 20-year-old singer posed in a pair of white knickers, black heels and leaf print top as she said that the party girl image she has obtained over the years is entirely unfair.
