Infamous boxing champion Mike Tyson has become the latest celebrity to weigh in on Gucci Mane‘s new ice cream face tattoo.
Known for causing a stir with his own facial art in 2003, Tyson mocked Gucci’s dessert-inspired artwork.
“I haven’t seen Gucci Mane’s tat,” Tyson told radio host DJ Whoo Kid during an interview. “I like going to war, he likes being licked on. You know what I mean? [laughs] I watch Gucci Mane. Gucci Mane’s a player, man. He’s got it going on. Gucci Mane.” (DJ Smirnoff Exclusives)
Yesterday, West Coast rapper Game said Gucci’s tattoo took judgmental eyes off of his own facial ink.
“I seen Gucci’s new face tat and as soon I did, I thought ‘finally they can get off me about [my] butterfly/star/LA sh*t.’ That’s what I thought. But you know what man, I don’t give a f*ck about what they say about anybody, a muthaf*cka could tattoo a butterfly, ice cream cone, apple pie on their cheek. Bottom-line, if you know Gucci, you know he’s real. He been on trial for his life and all of that. He bodied people. So he could tattoo a f*ckin’ tampon on his face for all I care. You can’t say he’s buster or whatever. And me I done been shot, stole sh*t, robbed people, every-f*ckin’-thing you can think of. Tattoos don’t mean sh*t, they ain’t nothing but good art.” (VIBE)
Last month, Gucci’s friend/rapper Waka Flocka Flame said he would not follow in his tatted footsteps.
“Like I just said, eh, we some wild dudes, [laughs]” Waka told radio host Bootleg Kev when asked about Gucci Mane’s ice cream face tattoo. “Ain’t no telling what [we] gonna do, man. [laughs] Nah, [no Fozzy Bear on my face]. Never. I ain’t touching my face.” (Bootleg Kev)
Photos of the rapper’s new look landed online around mid-January.
SO ICEY! Gucci Mane hopped up out of rehab/mental facility a couple days ago. And he may need to demand a refund. Dude visited Tenth Street Tattoo in Atlanta today. And got this brand new little nugget of classiness–a big *ss ice cream cone complete with color, 3 scoops and the word “Brrr”–covering his whole right facial cheek. Wow. Tattoo artist and owner of the shop, Shane Willoughby, is the artist behind Gucci’s newest tattoo addition. And the master piercer in the shop–Jason Murray–tweeted the pics. (The YBF)
