Based off further reports, the rapper was in his early 20’s.

Memphis Bleek protege, G Baby, was fatally shot in Queens two nights ago following Fabolous‘ gig at club Amazura. No arrests have been reported. Locally, the 22-year-old Brooklynite was making a name for himself with several collabos and viral videos. (Rap Radar)

Following his concert, Fabolous paid his respect to the late emcee.

“Life is not Promised.. Live Life to the fullest, & like there is no 2moro.. Lost a soldier in the field this morning.. R.I.P. G Baby,” Fab wrote through Twitter on Saturday. (Fabolous’ Twitter)

The fatal shooting took place in a location recently subjected to violence.

There has been a wave of violence in Jamaica and Hollis, Queens and the surrounding areas, as many young people have been killed in the past few years. Kevin Miller, a thirteen year old, was killed in October, when he was walking home from school and shot in the back of the head, from a stray bullet. (Global Grind)
