Maybach Music Group rapper Meek Mill‘s long-awaited Dreams Worth More Than Money album is reportedly gearing up to sell over 200,000 copies in its opening week.

Based on initial estimates, the Philadelphia native’s sophomore studio release should easily debut atop the sales chart next week.

Rapper Meek Mill is heading for his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Industry forecasters suggest his latest release, Dreams Worth More Than Money, could move over 200,000 equivalent album units in the week ending July 5. That should easily place the set atop the Billboard 200 chart when its top 10 is unveiled on Wednesday, July 10. (Billboard)

Mill revealed his new project would arrive this week on social media a few days ago.

Meek’s LP comes heavily packed with hip-hop artists ranging from Young Money’s Drake to producer Swizz Beatz.

Over the spring, Meek talked about his publicized jail stint last summer delaying the LP.

“I ain’t drop an album since I was 25. I rap way better. I’ve experienced way more. I just came from jail. I made sure I read a whole lot, smartened up and learned more. You know, I’m just next level Meek Mill. I know everybody come here like, “I’m on my next level…”” (XXL Mag)

    • I disagree. He turned pop on some commercial shit. I understand it’s what he had to do and most will give the “He’s growing as an artist” argument but i’m from Philly. I remember this dude begging to get on stage and rocking the house at clubs, the 2 Raw 4 The streets DVDs, Rhyming on the corner of Burks Street with Lil and Frank…I just never thought I’d hear this type of Meek. I wish him the best and all the success in the world but I’ll pass on this new Pop/Commercial Meek.
