According to SOHH correspondent J. Bachelor, Meek has plenty of big things going down in 2013 including new music with The LOX’s Jadakiss.

“Meek just sat down with Shade 45’s Sway for an interview and said that he and Jadakiss are making a remix to ‘I Got 5 On It,'” reports J. Bachelor. “Meek said it’s not just because of the Rick Ross shooting that we have to be alert now. He said, ‘My jewels are real when you walkin’ with 250,000 on, you gotta be on alert.’ He also mentioned being down with Slim Thug, Paul Wall and Z-Ro as some of his favorite Houston rappers. Meek introduced his artist Lil Snoop and said he’s on Dreamchasers Records. There’s a new tour coming in April, the Dreams Come True tour.” (SOHH)

Much like sports competition, Mill has kept active with his rap battle with one-time former comrade Cassidy.

“He can’t come back to the city. Really. Last five times he been back to the city he was back here with me or either Ar-Ab,” Meek said in an interview. “He ain’t addressed everything Ar-Ab said in none of his raps because he won’t address it, he scared to address it. He won’t dare address that. And Ar-Ab ain’t saying nothing new he been saying sh*t like this. He only saying it because of the camera.” (Hip Hop Since 1987)

Late last month, Meek released his Dreams & Nightmares introduction track.

It was all a dream… Meek Mill reflects on his rags-to-riches story in the pensivevideo for “Dreams and Nightmares,” the intro track to his debut album. The Maybach Music MC, who is readying his new mixtape Dreamchcasers 3, walks down the steet and has flashbacks from his troubled past as a dreadlocked felon on the streets, fast forwarding to himself driving Bentleys and doing songs with Mariah Carey. His rhymes get more intense as the visuals also heat up with a fiery car scene. He and his Dreamchasers crew ride their BMX bikes and mob the streets. For a second, Meek imagines himself in the back of a cop car, but he’s not about to go down that road again. (Rap-Up)

Back in early November, the rapper’s long-awaited debut sold over 160,000 copies in its opening week.

Maybach Music Group rapper Meek Mill’s Dreams & Nightmares opened at No. 2. With seven days knocked out, Mill’s long-awaited debut has sold 164,800 records. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
