The King of the South T.I. is hot on the promotional trial for his forthcoming disc Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head. As part of his “Trouble Man Tuesdays,” Tip unveiled the album cover and tracklist for the hotly anticipated album. 1. “The Introduction” 2. “G Season” feat. Meek Mill 3. “Trap Back Jumpin” 4. “Wildside” feat. A$AP Rocky 5. “Ball” feat. Lil Wayne 6. “Sorry” feat. André 3000 7. “Can You Learn” feat. R. Kelly 8. “Go Get It” 9. “Guns and Roses” feat. In August, the “King of the South” defended his decision not to rush out the LP.

“Me being the perfectionist that I am, I’m still tweaking and fine-tuning, trying to perfect all parts of this project,” Tip told MTV News, confirming that the album won’t be complete for another few months. “I did, like, 124 songs, and I’ve narrowed it down to 86 now, so now I have to continue to narrow down and continue to make it better. I’m not trying to paint myself into a corner with a date. I’m trying to make sure that the project is the absolute best it could be, and I’m trying to get it down by the end of the year.” (MTV)

In May, Tip revealed an intent to drop the LP on September 4th.

Trouble is brewing for T.I. The Grand Hustle chief has announced a release date for his eighth album Trouble Man. During his visit to Angie Martinez‘ radio show on Tuesday, Tip revealed that the follow-up to 2010’s No Mercy will drop on September 4. “Look forward to those summertime anthems that we’ve grown to love about T.I.,” he previously told Fuse of the project, which has spawned the singles “Love This Life” and “Like That.” (Rap-Up)

The VH1 reality star recently hit up SOHH and said Trouble Man had the most priority over his upcoming retail projects.

“We’re definitely going to get Trouble Man [out there] first,” Tip told SOHH when asked about his upcoming LP release dates. “That’s defnitely number one, that’s definitely priority. You’ll get that in time. As far as the T.I. and B.o.B. and T.I. and Young Jeezy record, that’s in the works. I don’t know man, I definitely want to do both of them.” (SOHH)

T.I.’s Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head is slated to drop Tuesday, December 18th.
