Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill is showing no shame in his music biz game on social media this week and reminded fans of his achievements.
Meek jumped on Instagram Friday (June 10) to reflect on his early success in the rap industry.
Recently, Chicago rapper Lil Durk spoke on visiting Meek and talked about the rapper’s desire to return to music-making.
“He’s good. He’s turnt up, ready to get off house arrest. [We talked about] how he made a mistake and how he don’t want me to follow his mistake. House arrest killing him; they have him doing community service but he likes it ’cause he’s helping his community. He’s just ready to get back to work, get back to the studio.” (XXL Mag)
Last month, Durk and rapper Young Thug checked on Meek during his house arrest.

Despite the legal woe, Meek has been keeping busy as of late putting out new music like his “All The Way Up” freestyle.
On the fiery freestyle, Mill throws some shade at Drake, returning to his original accusation that claims the Toronto rapper doesn’t always write his own lyrics. “This is hip-hop / You ain’t write it, don’t record it / I don’t know how they gettin’ down ‘cross the border,” he spits. He also raps, “Views from the projects / N*gga I’m the prospect.” (Rolling Stone)
