Cassidy got Meek’s blood boiling first after taking credit for paving a lane for Philly hip-hop artists.

“I been popping for over a decade! N*ggas get 1 year in and get carried away.. I paved the way for these dudes.. N*ggas is scared! That would be the easiest 100k I ever made in my life.. It’s like taking candy from a baby..,” Cass tweeted November 15th.

“F*ck all this tweeting and sh*t.. Put that sh*t in a rap, battle me, and get your f*cking head bit off..” (Cassidy’s Twitter)

Meek proceeded to unload an army’s worth of disses back at Cass.

“Why n*ggas Tryna pump Cassidy 2 battle I said I wanted him and Mook 2 battle…a battle I wanted 2 c..he gotta get poppin first 2 battle me!,” Meek tweeted.

“You can’t pave the way wit “come 2 my hotel” @CASSIDY_LARSINY”

“And ya swagg corny as sh*t u don’t even represent Philly n*ggas right n*gga! @CASSIDY_LARSINY paced the way!”

“N*ggaz wanna battle “get a single popping and ill do it for free!”

“If n*ggas wanna get popping ill do it! Lol”

“From now on I’m not letting these n*ggas talk about sh*t in they raps they not about…I’ma start exposing y’all weirdos lol” (Meek Mill’s Twitter)

Meek also questioned just how much Cass has contributed to their hometown.

“#Pause lol RT @CASSIDY_LARSINY: F*ck all this tweeting and sh*t.. Put that sh*t in a rap, battle me, and get your f*cking head bit off..”

“Truthfully I wanted 2 battle the underground n*ggas 2 bring more light 2 they sh*t cause I love what they doing ….cass just thirsty!”

“Get ya shots off now cause tomar ima drop some new sh*t and we gone forget about ya again!”

“beanie Siegel was the only n*gga out in them streets stunting still in da hood! And I just took it 2 the next level #freebmack” (Meek Mill’s Twitter)

Hours after the dispute, Cassidy dropped his “Diary of a Hustla” diss record.

Now, Cassidy has taken the beef to wax, releasing a diss track titled “The Diary of a Hustla.” On the song, he claims that Meek lives a lifestyle opposite of what he portrays and adds in a few low blows. “Don’t believe this n*gga hustlin’, this n*gga bluffin’ / Look him in his eyes, the only time he cookin’ pies is in the kitchen oven,” he raps. “His fake a** better break fast before he get his food ate like an Egg McMuffin / He ain’t the only n*gga f*ckin’ that chick he cuffin.” (HHDX)

Last week, Ruff Ryders producer Swizz Beatz said he would put his money on Cass in a battle with Meek.

“I’d put my money Cass just because I’m a loyal person,” Swizzy said when asked who he felt had a better shot at winning in a rap battle. “Cass is somebody that I groomed, put a lot of time into, just off of [general purpose] and loyalty, I’d put my money on Cassidy. 100 percent.” (RapFix)

Days prior, Cass reacted to Meek Mill offering a $100,000 battle rap challenge.

“Well, you know, that’s what I do, man. I mean, I’m cut from that cloth. I started off with battling so I’m into that but ever since I got a deal and started getting money up in this industry, it wasn’t really beneficial for me to battle especially with a bunch of those dudes that are battling all the time,” Cass said in an interview with radio host Q Deezy. “I know I’ma bite they head off but it’s like, really, what am I going to get out of it? … Meek got that wave right now, he a household name, bigging him up — we definitely can get a nice crowd, get some crazy sponsors and get some chicken up. So it’ll be beneficial for me to do something like that.” (Q Deezy)
