Based on one-day estimates, the compilation project is slated to debut on the sales chart.

Columbia’s Glee Cast Volume 6 will debut with between 80-85k, while Maybach/ Warner Bros.’ Maybach Music Group Presents: Self Made, Vol. 1, the Rick Ross-founded label previously with Def Jam, will do in the 50-55k range. (HITS Daily Double)

The project features guest appearances by J. Cole, Drake and Jadakiss.

The prime three (Ross, Wale, Meek) appear on a number of songs including “Pandemonium”,”Play Your Part” (Featuring D.A. from Chester French) and “Fitted Cap” (featuring J.Cole). D.A. does his best Bobby Brown impression as the trio rhyme of women who think they are getting over on them because they trick a little, not realizing that they are part of the uniform for a player. “Pandemonium” is a rousing, downhill rhyme fest of ashy to classy in the world of organized crime. Cole adds extra cheese to the crew’s fresh recounting Rolls Royces along with foamposites, Lebrons the latest (retro) Jordans and other objects of hood envy. Meek Mill steals the show on this one. On the production side, Ross called up some hitmakers including Just Blaze and DJ Toomp.

Rick Ross, Wale, Pill and Meek Mill are suited up on the cover of their compilation album Self Made Vol.1 which will be in stores May 24th. Producers: Just Blaze, Mill Will / Eardrummers, Young Shun, Cardiak, Lil Lody, Beat Billionaire, Lex Luger, DJ Toomp, Joe Lindsday, Jahil Beats, The Inkredibles, Kontrakt Hitz, Bit Billionaire and Tone P. (Musica Hip Hop)

Earlier this month, Ross credited music moguls like Diddy and Baby for inspiring his Maybach Music Group brand.

“Building Maybach Music Group, building this empire, of course I was inspired by some of the earlier movements and earlier dudes that came along such as Cash Money [and] Bad Boy Records. To me, when I really think about the greatest era of hip-hop, that was the greatest eras of hip-hop; when I turned on the TV and saw Big, Mase, Junior Mafia, and the Lox. That was the most exciting era of hip-hop. I looked at the No Limit era and saw that camaraderie that they had, that unity, that brotherhood that they shared. I think it spilled over from [their] music,” Rick Ross says. (The Juice)
