Speaking via statement, Damizza said his new Guilty By Association is not intended to dismantle anyone’s lives.

“I want to say to TMZ I think [her husband] Nick Cannon is a brilliant person that does not get enough credit. And this is old business. So, lil’ homie step back, that’s with my respect. My name is Damion Young. I’m an alcoholic. And I have to stop lying. Yes. Mariah & I dated. It was h*ll. Everybody in this industry saw what I did for Mariah. And for what I did, or said, I have NO apologies. If you think for one second I’m afraid of Facebooks’ lawyer, that Mariah is hiding behind, you are crazy. Sweetheart, are you afraid I might say something that would end your career? Wielding a confidentiality clause that I had drafted for your protection from J.Lo, who was stealing your records through SONY? OK, “Let’s be real.” I would have done that a long time ago. If this was personal. But, like Nick said.. “Hey, this is entertainment.” (SOHH)

Damizza also stressed the book’s primary target is to tell his personal journey.

“I’m sick of the lawyers. I’m sick of lying to make people happy & tell them what they want to hear. That’s not what I’m about. I AM A REAL PERSON. And you, are hiding behind a lawyer because you feel to guilty to pick up the phone and say “I’m sorry, I really did put you through h*ll.” The truth isn’t always popular.. but, it’s always the truth,” Damizza added. “This book was never about money. It was never about exploiting and snitching on all the artists I put on or assisted in their time of need. This book was the most sanitized version of my story I could give, without hurting any one’s feelings. Mariah read the chapter. She offered “Suggestions to make it better.” Being a nice guy and a loyal friend I obliged. And in return I got a new confidentiality agreement that not only was retroactive, but, she could name her price if she felt offended. I’m offended. Be a REAL PERSON. Come out of the glass box. If you have something to say or if anyone in this industry has something to say to say. I ain’t never been too hard to find. Feel Me?” (SOHH)

The hip-hop producer is reportedly responsible for a slew of Mariah Carey records.

R&B songstress Mariah Carey will be the subject of a tell-all book, when Hip-Hop producer Da Mizza releases Guilty By Association, a new book detailing his love affair with the superstar singer. Da Mizza, born Damion Young, claims that he was Mariah’s producer as well as her live-in-boyfriend, when he worked in radio as an executive at L.A.’s Power 106. Additionally, as a producer, Da Mizza has sold over 30 million records, by co-produced or worked with artists like Dr. Dre, Michael Jackson, Hootie & The Blowfish, Eric Burdon and others. According to Da Mizza, who produced Mariah’s hit singles “Crybaby,” “Irresistible” and “I Still Believe,” the book will reveal details about “one of the industry’s most passionate love affair.” ?(All Hip Hop)

Three years ago, Damizza detailed plans to drop his Guilty By Association in early 2009.

“I’m working on a book, which is really my life story on all the experiences I’ve gone through; it’s not a tell-all on anybody. Of course baby girl freaked out, and all kinds of sh*t,” Damizza did add, referencing Mariah Carey’s ordering a cease and desist of mention of her. Damizza produced her hit single “Cry Baby” and considered the R&B diva a friend. (Hip Hop DX)

Guilty By Association is slated to become availble December 14th through www.DamizzaBook.com
