According to reports, the viral sensation is now a part of the star-studded YMCMB family.

Cash Money Records continues to grow and diversify their label with new acts. A budding pop star looks to be the latest addition to YMCMB as teen sensation Austin Mahone has aligned with the home of Lil’ Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Tyga and others. The 17-year-old singer/dancer from San Antonio, Texas made a name through YouTube videos, which landed him a deal with Universal Republic. Dubbed by many as the next Justin Bieber, Mahone was an opening act on Taylor Swift’s RED tour and chosen by MTV as an artist to watch in 2013. (Miss Info TV)

The singer caught some attention at last weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards.

YouTube sensation Austin Mahone took home the Artist To Watch honor at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. The 17-year-old crooner nabbed the award in recognition of his third single, “What About Love.” Mahone, has been likened to Aaron Carter and Justin Bieber, will release his debut album on Oct. 8. “What About Love” marks the most successful single from the project to date, peaking at No. 18 on Mainstream Top 40 chart.
