According to Seven, K.E. took key elements of his original beat and flipped it for Ricky Rozay’s newest Mastermind record.

“The actual beat that I submitted actually sounds better as far as quality wise because he tried to replay the drums, but they aren’t the same quality as the one that I used. And [he] tried to change the 808s to a bass. The original one is actually better. You know, I guess it’s going to work itself out. It’s going to be a big look for me, for my first placement to be Jay Z and Rick Ross? The track I did before that was on T-Pain‘s last mixtape, “Let You Go.” I produced that. I just see this as the start of my career.” (XXL Mag)

K.E. also promised to bring justice to the situation by releasing visual proof.

“All I am going to do is make a beat video with me showing every single track that’s in the beat. And it’s going to be a real beat video. I really don’t have to say anything. I mean, the people in the industry will know. Big people already know. I made so many big connections just between today and yesterday.” (XXL Mag)

A few days ago, Seven claimed he was actually the person responsible for originally crafting Ricky Rozay’s record.

“Rick Ross feat. Jayz Devil is a Lie prod. by Me stolen by @_keonthetrack http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhF6JbhrAt45uKuM5h … this guy is a straight theif!!!!,” Seven tweeted December 19. (Major Seven’s Twitter)

K.E. almost immediately jumped onto Twitter to defend his image and slammed the accusations.

“” We dont believe you , you need more people ” hov.lol,” K.E. tweeted December 19. (K.E. On The Track’s Twitter)

The track officially premiered online Thursday (December 19) afternoon.

Bey and Hov are a true power couple — just a few days after Beyonce dropped her new record in the dead of night, Jay Z and Rick Ross are out with a new K.E.-produced single “The Devil Is A Lie,” off Ross’ upcoming LP, Mastermind. After teasing the hell out of the collab on Twitter Thursday (December 19), Rozay dropped the song via SoundCloud this afternoon, along with a tweet teasing Mastermind reading: “Mastermind on the way.” The track is a true tour de force: frenzied, studded with horns and driving drum machines, with both Barneys and Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse getting shoutouts.
