Based on one-day estimates, Miller’s new LP will easily debut atop the sales chart.

That’s right, just like we said last week, Rostrum Records rapper Mac Miller’s Blue Slide Park, distributed digitally by INgrooves and physically by Fontana, will debut at #1 smack dab in the middle of Q4, with estimates of between 175-185k, which might even be conservative. This is a triumph of social networking and good, new-fashioned viral marketing, as Malcolm McCormick, the son of a Christian architect father and Jewish mother photographer, transforms his combined 2.7 millionTwitter, Facebook and MySpace followers into an impressive debut. Taking note of the sales projections, Miller hit up Twitter with his reaction.

“good morning world. it’s day number 2 of #blueslidepark last night was incredibly dope. Havin a #1 album is cool.,” he tweeted November 9th. (Mac Miller’s Twitter)

The LP features close to 20 tracks but with no guest features.

As his debut continues to sell off store shelves, Miller is currently gearing up for a promo tour.

Staying true to a tradition of supporting up-and-coming artists and life being different on the mountain, Mountain Dew announces a new partnership with the one and only Mac Miller. With his hotly anticipated debut Blue Slide Parkout today, Mountain Dew is pleased to present Mac’s first headlining US tour, which will feature 35 shows in 32 cities this Fall. The sponsorship will include branded promotional items at every show, a remix release on the Mountain Dew record label Green Label Sound and a live internet broadcast of Mac’s album release show tonight at the West Hollywood House of Blues.
