[New York rap veteran crew M.O.P.'s Billy Danze and Lil Fame recently chopped it up with SOHH and talked about everything from their "Street Certified" EP to what Big Apple emcees they're digging.]

Street Certified EP:

With this [Street Certified] EP, of course we made sure we put that traditional M.O.P. music on there, and now when I say new music from M.O.P., it’s new, it’s brand new music, maybe a newer sound or a different sound but we’re always traditional M.O.P.

Again I think people are going to love this EP. We put our minds into, we put our hearts into it, like we always do with any other M.O.P. project and we’re happy with it. Everybody from Brooklyn, you got Maino, Uncle Murda, Papoose, Troy Avenue, Joell Ortiz. Everybody. Shout out to Brooklyn. Those guys are really standing out and pushing Brooklyn forward. -Billy Danze

I would say an honorable M.O.P. member would be a split between a DMX, and maybe Scarface or somebody that goes extra hard. -Billy Danze

I need my computer, I definitely need my cell phone, got to take care of the business. I need, from around 3 o clock to 4 o clock, I need some quiet time so I can think of my next big move. -Billy Danze
