Grammy-winning rapper Ludacris is hoping some court documents can help his overnight baby mama drama fade to black after asking a judge to seal his case entirely.
According to reports, Luda is ready for the entire legal battle to end in hopes of saving his reputation.
In exclusive court documents we’ve obtained, the “Get Back” rapper claimed he has been “publicly humiliated” all because his baby mama Tamika Fuller isn’t happy with the amount of child support the Georgia guidelines calculate he pay. “Because the media is able to read and misinterpret the documents in the Court’s file in this case, every day since Jan. 1, 2014, I have been publically humiliated and called a deadbeat dad, who does not want to see or support his minor child. Nothing could be further from the truth,” the entrepreneur, born Christopher Brian Bridges, said. (RadarOnline)
Last month, reports claimed Luda was putting up a strong fight against his surprise baby mother.
Rapper Ludacris wants to do something so shocking, it will send shock waves through the rap community — he’s fighting for CUSTODY of his kid. Luda and baby mama Tamika Fuller are duking it out in an Atlanta court over custody and child support. They had a baby girl 2 months ago and Tamika’s been taking care of the kid. The rapper now says in legal docs he’s a “fit and capable parent” and should get full physical custody. He offers up his parental resume, saying he’s always been “an active father” to his 12-year-old girl. (TMZ)
To make matters more complicated, the rap star reportedly wanted his daughter’s mother to cough up child support.
Now the plot thickens. Luda has also asked the judge to force Tamika to pay HIM child support. That’s interesting, because Tamika was asking for $15K a month in child support and Ludacris pleaded poverty, saying Paul Walker’s death derailed “Fast & Furious 7” and his cash flow dried up. The judge awarded her $7K a month. So the question … does Luda really want custody, or is this a way to turn the financial tables? (TMZ)
Despite the buzzing gossip and rumors, Luda’s surprise baby mother recently said she never tried to extort Luda in exchange for staying mum about their daughter.
“It saddens me that it has come to this. I did not file on him. Nor would I ever try to attempt to extort my child’s fathers. Ive never asked him to buy me a car. I had engine trouble. I asked to borrow one of his during my pregnancy so that I could continue 2 get 2 work. I have never been a stripper. I did waitress there in my past. I have since moved on from that.
