Talking to New York’s Power 105.1 radio host Cherry Martinez, Mena said she ultimately regretted what went down on Monday’s broadcast.

“I’m really passionate about eveything that I’ve done in my career and I’m not saying that I’m perfect because I’m far from that but you know, I definitely take pride in what I do — what I will say is that the scene was definitely condensed to one sound byte. A lot of the dialogue between me and Kimbella was left on the cutting room floor. … What was left out was the fact that my career was being compared to hers and that was kind of a big no-no. However, I don’t condone the violence, I’m not a violent person and if I could go back, I would definitely take different actions because it was uncalled for. We’re mothers, we’re grown women, regardless of whether I respect her line of what she does or what she is as a person or whatever, it’s something that I’m not proud of. Like I said, I’m not a violent person. If I could take it back, I absolutely would.” (Power 105.1)

On the episode, manager Yandy Smith rounded up Kimbella and Mena for a gathering.

By the time Yandy brought Erica to meet Kimbella and R&B singer Teairra Mari for a social sipping call at a winery, it seemed like mere moments before Erica was yelling at Kimbella for the aforementioned reason. “I don’t really consider what you do modeling though,” Erica said to Kimbella. “It’s kind of like soft porn. It’s cute, though, 101 ways you can bend over!” Kimbella reacted by throwing her wine glass at Erica, and soon the two were gripping each other’s heads in combat so fierce, that even if it had been encouraged or scripted, its intensity clearly shocked those around them. By the time the women were forced apart, both appeared to have bloody cuts on their faces. As the episode drew to a close, Erica was calling the police and the other ladies were fleeing the scene in a car. (RapFix)

Since the episode’s airing, Mena has blamed VH1 for hurting her image.

“Love & Hip Hop” star Erica Mena tells TMZ, the vicious, glass-smashing, hair-pulling cat fight between her and Kimbella Vanderhee has torpedoed her modeling career — and it’s all VH1’s fault. But the 24-year-old tells us, she was completely misrepresented in the episode — blaming show editors for unfairly portraying her as the bad guy … and Kimbella as an angel. Erica tells us, “My whole image in my career is now affected by this. I wanted them to pull this clip because I don’t want to show this side of me.” Clearly, VH1 refused. (TMZ)

This marks the latest Kimbella fight since she went head-to-head with co-star Chrissy Lampkin.

“The fight was crazy, it was out of control and there were definitely punches landed. It was insane. We really didn’t know it was going to happen. It was out of nowhere. It was a crazy moment. I don’t condone violence and I never wanted Chrissy to fight anybody, but I do understand that there was a lot of emotion in that room,” Emily said in an interview. “She took it personal what [Kimbella] was saying, so it kind of turned from a conversation between me and her to her and Chrissy. It was crazy. [Kimbella] was on the floor, her contacts came out of her eyes, she was completely without clothes on the floor. She was laying out naked on the floor. Her dress went up to her neck. It was so insane and that’s just a little bit of it. So, when I seen the scene [with Kimbella] saying, ‘I’m still pretty,’ I was like, ‘Oh my God.'” (XXL Mag)
