“Love & Hip Hop” star Yandy Smith will have to start driving around with a baby seat in her whip as she has officially welcomed a boy into the world this week.
Smith broke the news over Twitter and received some public shout-outs courtesy of fellow “Love & Hip Hop” co-stars Kimbella and Olivia.
Congratulations to ‘Love & Hip-Hop’s’ Yandy Smith and her beau Mandecees for delivering a baby boy named Harris Monday night. Though details are sparse, the lady mogul took to Instagram to express her joy as a new mommy. “My greatest accomplishment in life was my most difficult task in life. With God and my family we did it. I will forever remember this day 7/16/12. It was written in cursive for this king to exist.” Her reality show gal pals Kimbella (who is also expecting) and Olivia also wished her well. @kimbellasworld: Long day..Or journey I should say! Congrats to my Pud @yandysmith on her beautiful baby boy..She’s a trooper for delivering such a blessing @1andonlyOlivia: Everybody go congratulate my stinker @yandysmith #babyboytweet (VIBE)
Last April, the music industry executive confirmed she would soon be a mother.
“You wanted to know now you know!!!! #POW http://instagr.am/p/JS5F0UOA_4/ ,” she tweeted with a photo showing her in high heels, a dress and plump stomach. (Yandy Smith’s Twitter)
Speculation developed earlier this year as Smith pregnancy rumors heated up the Internet.
The feisty ex manager of rapper Jim Jones and reality TV star had been spotted out several times with her growing baby bump but stopped short of confirming the obvious. Most recently she and Love and Hip Hop co-star Kimbella – who’s also pregnant – hosted several parties across the northeast. And from the looks of the above picture in a gorgeous Givenchy dress, Yandy’s partying isn’t slowing down one bit. It’s unlikely despite the rumors that Jim Jones is the father though we may have to wait another three months before Yandy confirms. It is known however that she’s had a long term relationship with a live-in boyfriend. And if by chance it’s not his we’re sure it will make a great story on next season of Love and Hip Hop. Recently, she told SOHH who would make an ideal Valentine’s Day date.
“My dream Valentine who I have my super celebrity crush on would be Laz Alonzo. Laz Alonzo is a Howard University graduate and I know the makings of a Howard man. I think he’s a beautiful specimen of a man. We both happen to be alumni from Howard University. So that’s just an instant connection right there. I would love to go to dinner with him, somewhere nice and quiet where we could just talk. Dinner would be fun for me. A nice, romantic, candle lit get-to-know-you dinner where we could just talk to the night away.” (SOHH)
