Banks said despite Buck’s ousting from the Unit in 2008, he wouldn’t wish misfortune onto any artist.

Banks carefully commented on Buck’s situation, electing to take the high road which Buck certainly did not when he was booted from G-Unit in 2008 by 50 Cent. “[It’s] unfortunate. I don’t wish indictment or anything worse than that on anybody, “said Banks. He added, “Yeah, I have nothing negative to say about the situation [and] hopefully he makes it out that.” If Lloyd gets into any trouble, he should be comforted by the news that his “So Forgetful” co-star has his back. “I gotta worry about Banks, “said the rapper in his gruff baritone. “Ain’t nobody gonna be throwing bail towards my way,” he added but not before Ryan Leslie chimed in. “I got you, homie,” said the “Addiction” star. Last week, 50 Cent also made sure to remind fans he would not lend his support to Buck.

“H*ll no lol RT @Whaddupluv: @50cent will u bail out young buck? Lol! It’ll be your #niggagooddeedthisyeartweet,” 50 tweetedWednesday (March 9). (50 Cent’s Twitter)

Buck’s legal situation hit the Internet in early March.

A notorious rapper from Nashville is in trouble again. Young Buck, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, is facing federal charges for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. Channel 4 was the only station in federal court Monday afternoon when the rapper was brought in in handcuffs to appear before the judge. As the indictment spells out, these latest charges could mean ten years in prison. He’s now facing federal charges. According to an indictment unsealed Monday, he’s charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a .40-caliber pistol and ammunition. Federal authorities say all this happened on or about Aug. 3. (WSMV News)

Despite the case’s seriousness, Buck has since been allowed bail.

Brown pleaded not guilty, and his attorney said these charges came as a surprise to both he and his client. Brown is out on bond, but according to the terms of his release, he must surrender his passport. However, Young Buck is supposed to perform in Canada soon. So the judge is allowing the rapper to post $100,000 bond by Friday and then he’ll get his passport back. (WSMV News)
