G-Unit‘s Lloyd Banks recently responded to past claims by Rick Ross of his jewelery being fake while also mocking the rapper’s associate Gunplay to attempt to take his items from him.
Playing with Gunplay’s previous “you do it” taunts towards 50 Cent, Banks has green lighted Ross’ associate as a possible rap target.
“Boss,” Banks said in a video. “I ain’t got a piece of fake jewelery. Not even an earring, n*gga. I be coming through with Princess Diana jewelery on. Prince Charming. I dare a n*gga to try to get that. You, you get it. How that n*gga say it, that dutch that be with you? You do it, n*gga. You do it! F*ck outta here. N*gga talking about they don’t understand me. You don’t understand me, n*gga! B*tch a**. And y’all n*ggas is broke.” (This Is 50)
Banks’ taunts stem from Gunplay’s response to 50’s “BooBooTV” clip showing him lying unconscious on the ground.
“These n*ggas don’t understand, boy,” Gunplay said in a video. “Real n*ggas go through real things dawg…You can’t get everything oncamera, but they got that. You win some, you lose some, n*gga. It’s nothin’. You do it, you do it 50 and any blogger…You got your chain snatched on stage, man. Take a look. Don’t f*cking play with me.” (World Star Hip Hop)
Along with mocking Ross and Gunplay in videos, the “Punch Line King” also penned the diss song “Officer Down.” earlier this year
“Too easy man, can’t a motherf*cker ’round you see me/You need an AK and a Genie, a whole pound of Wheaties,” Banks raps. “He been talking ’bout the weight he push/Used to punch the clock in jail/Drove his mama car around/Now he got what you want for sale/See it, I bought it/It’s official if I flaunt it…We’ll be here long after you disappear/This is proof/One fifty one in the booth…You Super Thug/I’m kryptonite/Sleep with me, your b*tch just might/Same promotion, different fight…This is like practice/Pay your taxes before you spit my name all backwards…50 bodies you, I just lay the chalk around.” (SOHH)
Ross recently claimed he received a phone call from a G-Unit associate pleading with him to cease his verbal attacks on Fif.
“It’s only right I came to New York City to write my ‘Mafia Music’ remix verse…It’s funny I say ‘Mafia Music’ remix because today I get a call from a dude from G-Unit, his name, he told me, was Nelson Gomez. N*gga Nelson Gomez offered me a sum of money to fall back. I told him make it a half a million and I’ll chill on Curly. But that don’t go for Yayo and the other guy…I’ma still see them. Y’all gotta pay separate. So if I do agree to fall back on the n*gga ’cause they give me the money, I ain’t giving the other n*ggas a pass. ‘Cause the monkey said don’t give n*ggas passes.” (Torch Is NY)
