According to Rousseau, Weezy’s solo presence allows viewers to get a closer look into his being.

“It’s one of those things where you can interpret it like we’re trying to dissect who Lil Wayne is,” Rousseau said in an interview. “How does his mind work? He’s almost grown into a mythology now. He’s not even human. He’s like Michael Jordan. The way Michael Jordan dunks a ball wasn’t even human…It’s just that dissection of the myth and the man, separating him from the lyrics…Because he’s one of those artists where people hang onto every lyric. He’s not just rapping about anything, you know? Read between the lines and find out what his message is about and stuff. It’s kind of pointing fans at doing that. There’s a deeper meaning to what he’s rapping about, and you gotta get in there.” (MTV)

Over four-minutes in length, the footage leaked online last week.

Lil Wayne told you that he was a martian, and he backs up the claim in the bizarre new video for his rock-tinged track “I’m Not a Human Being.” Previously released as only a clip, the fluorescent full-length video shows Wayne in a purplish pink hue, rapping along to the bustling title track off his upcoming album. Rousseau recently informed SOHH he would be involved with the rapper’s EP promotion.

“It’s still kinda really being developed,” Rousseau told SOHH about a pending role on Wayne’s upcoming EP. “Cash Money, they’re developing ideas at the time so it’s really kinda under wraps right now but I know whatever it ends up being, it’s going to be big. But for right now, it’s still pretty much under wraps but I know they’re definitely trying to come out with something big so I’m gonna be involved. Right now, we’re gonna see what happens but it’s still really being processed.” (SOHH)

Wayne’s videographer DJ Scoob Doo also recently said his EP would feature additional visual footage.

“I got videos for the Carter IV and the I’m not a Human Being EP all ready. I can’t say the name of the song but Wayne was singing on the hook, but they’re getting Drake to re-do it and it’s off the Human Being EP,” Scoob says. “Carter IV is probably the best album I’ve heard in the last decade, but Wayne is such a different artist now that wants to record new music when he comes home. The stuff he’s talking about now is just on another level. That’s why a lot of the songs on the EP were originally taken from the Carter IV.” (VIBE)
