Rather than sugarcoat his words, Pusha went directly at Wayne and called his music as of late subpar.

“Why,” Pusha asked when questioned about not responding to Jae Millz’s disses. “[Laughs] I’m just having fun. I’m really just having fun with it. The thing is, these guys got so many fans that, when you make statements like ‘F Pusha T’ on Twitter and that type of stuff, you can’t just let things like that go because they got so many fans that by the time it gets quiet, everybody’s gonna start looking at you like, ‘He just gets over on you.’ So it’s like, I just play with that — just toy with it. Then he’s sorta rapping bad, so that doesn’t help. I’m like, good, he’s bad. So you just gotta keep shooting. [Did I listen to Dedication V?] Yes, of course. Trash. [laughs] Yeah man, [he lost it]. I don’t know [why he lost it]. Carter 2 Wayne is mean. That was mean. In being air, I would want to blame it on drugs or lack thereof drugs because I don’t know, I just don’t feel like people fall from grace like that, but, trash.” (Hip-Hop Nation)

A few days ago, Pusha denied putting out any disses toward Weezy F. Baby and questioned fans for sparking the beef speculation.

“I ain’t send no shot. I just said what I said on Twitter,” Pusha said in an interview when asked if he dissed Wayne. “What’s the problem? [laughs] Everybody say what I say. But my thing is, I want to turn the camera on everybody else. If I say a blanket statement as such, what gives y’all the right to just pin it on a man unless ‘you’ think the sh*t is horrible? [laughs] I ain’t into explaining my tweets. I ain’t for all that. I just say what I say. That’s what it is. D*mn.” (FUSE)

The rapper’s open-ended tweet appeared on his Twitter page hours after Dedication V premiered online.

“I think it’s safe to say, you really lost it…,” Pusha’s Twitter. (Pusha T’s Twitter)

Minutes after Pusha made the open-ended tweet about someone who “lost it,” Young Money’s Jae Millz went on the defensive end for Wayne.

“And i think its safe to say, YOU cant fuxk wit me! #CallingYouOut RT @PUSHA_T I think it’s safe to say, you really lost it…,” Millz tweeted September 1.

“Fans been waiting for ya album just as long as mine n*gga.. Lmao @PUSHA_T might as well jump in this water and get demolished!”

“Im sooooo on it… I been loading up!!! For ALL you n*ggas.. Talk that sh*t now, fuxk plaques, fuxk money, fuxk swag.. Let’s talk that sh*t”

“Somebody tell @PUSHA_T that JAE MILLZ is on that vintage NY calling n*ggas out sh!t.. Classic HipHop sh*t.. No violence, just BARS” (Jae Millz’s Twitter)

Not finished with the onslaught, Jae made sure to take a few jabs at Pusha’s music.

“Bout to go break up some loud on @PUSHA_T #WrathOfCaine mixtape.. Lmao,” Jae added.

“And I’m STILL #HearingVoices don’t make me part 2 u my man…”

“Slander tweets are funny and all, Lmao.. Can’t lie, some of yall are wild funny when yall go in. But these bars….. No joke.”

“BEEN Most Hated… We embrace slander with a smirk.”

“Word. Lol RT @Prince_Jnuff @STEVEKNOWS_ @JAE_MILLZ if he blocked you why you still on his d*ck Lmao”

“”I might sell a brick on my birthday, 36 years of doing dirt like it’s Earth Day” -Pushing 40 (*i meant) @PUSHA_T Lmfao”

“Lmfao…. Haaaaaaaaaaaa.”

“Ight, im done.. Yall can fill my mentions with slander now.. I probably won’t see it until tomorrow or Tuesday anyway, Lmao.?” (Jae Millz’s Twitter)

Last summer, the Clipse rapper and Wayne went at each other’s necks.

“I was surprised actually at the whole — anybody, but Wayne specifically, answering ‘Exodus.’ I’ve never seen one record that didn’t say any names cause so much of a firestorm,” Pusha told radio host Funkmaster Flex. “[Goulish?] It was horrible. It was trash. It wasn’t good — I didn’t like [the production] either. Let me say this. I didn’t like it for that type of record. I didn’t feel like, in all honesty, I haven’t said anything about it because I didn’t think it was good enough to respond to.” (Hot 97)
