Lil Wayne’s Daughter Stunts Like Her Daddy, “She Does It All”

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne's 12 year-old daughter is looking to follow in her father's footsteps and have a career within the music industry.

According to Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant, Reginae Carter sees herself becoming an entertainer.

“Reginae is just a star,” Cortez said in an interview. “She wants to be singer, an actress, she does it all. A great personality. She takes after him. He’s going to nurture whatever she wants to do. He’s supporting her in anything that she wants to do. So, if she says she wants to sing, I know that Wayne is going to do everything in his power and help her fulfill that dream, and I’m going to be right there to nurture it.” (Celebrity Access)

Reginae recently made headlines as a member of pre-teen singing crew The OMG Girlz.

The OMG Girlz are a singing group consisting of four girls ranging in age from 11-13. Two of the group’s members – Reginae and Zonnique – are the daughters of some pretty famous musicians: Lil Wayne and singer Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, a former member of 90s group Xscape who is now engaged to rapper T.I. and stars on the BET reality show “Tiny and Toya.” The two other girls in the band are named Basha and Lourdes. However, earlier this year she reportedly departed from the collective.

Breaking News: Hip Hop Weekly just heard some juicy shop talk. Word has it that Lil Wayne just put in a call from the Big House to Toya and yanked his daughter Reginae Carter slam out of the girl group the OMG Girlz. Now why would Weezy do such a thing? Well our sources tell us that Lil Wayne is uneasy (jealous) about all of the attention that T.I. is now giving the group since his release. (Hip Hop Weekly)

While Wayne served out a year-long jail sentence earlier this year, his ex-wife Toya Carter said Reginae kept in daily contact with him.

“As long as we’ve been talking or dating I’ve never not been able to pick up the phone and call him no matter what is going on in my life,” she said in an interview. “Now he’s locked up and it’s not like that anymore. As far as my daughter, her and her father have a great relationship. She talks to him every day after school. She can still talk to him but now it’s on a schedule with calls. It’s going to be a change for these 8 months.” (Honey Mag)
