When asked about what the future holds for Reginae, Toya said there is no limit as long her their daughter performs well in school.

“Yes, Reginae is very talented,” Toya told SOHH. “She is very talented, smart and wise beyond her years. And I know Wayne feels the same way, that she’s a star. [Her future?] It’s really whatever she wants to do. She been doing music with her dad lately. As long as she’s doing what she has to do in school and making good grades, I’ll support anything else.” (SOHH)

In March, Reginae Tweeted photos of an outing she had with Wayne.

Say what you want about Lil Wayne, but don’t question his love for his kids. The family guy enjoyed the weekend with his 12-year-old daughter Reginae and son Dwayne Carter III, hamming it up for the camera in a photo booth. “Like father, like son, like daughter! Meet the carters!” tweeted Reginae after spending the day with her father. (Rap-Up)

Late last year, Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant described Reginae as a multi-talented artist.

“Reginae is just a star,” Cortez said in an interview. “She wants to be singer, an actress, she does it all. A great personality. She takes after him. He’s going to nurture whatever she wants to do. He’s supporting her in anything that she wants to do. So, if she says she wants to sing, I know that Wayne is going to do everything in his power and help her fulfill that dream, and I’m going to be right there to nurture it.” (Celebrity Access)

While it is unclear if Wayne and Reginae have tracks recorded yet, the 12 year-old has just another seven years before her dad hangs up the microphone for good.

“I would say me, I’ll be the first to retire,” Wayne told radio host Angie Martinez when asked who would be the first to retire in Young Money. “I’m gone at like 35. I promise, I’m retiring early. Nah, I’m serious… I have four kids and I would feel selfish not to at that age. At 35, I would feel selfish still going to the studio when it’s such a vital point in their lives, not to be there. That would be very selfish of me. This is a solid plan and I stick with my plans. I’m gonna be a dad, a full-time dad.” (Hot 97)
