Young Money boss Lil Wayne's beef with Cash Money Records head Baby continues to get messy as new reports claim he wants superstars Drake and Nicki Minaj when he leaves the company.

According to reports, Wayne’s issues are deeper than just nailing Baby for nearly $10 million.

Drake, Nicki, Christina Milian, and Lil Twist are all signed to Wayne’s label. Mack Maine is also a YME artist, and the label’s president. Even though Birdman was integral in molding Drake and Nicki’s careers … we’re told Weezy believes the superstars should go with him because their contracts are with YME. (TMZ)

On his “CoCo” freestyle, Weezy F. Baby describes his loyalty to Cash Money amid labelmates leaving throughout the mid-2000’s.

“Who kept this sh*t together? N*gga, me, that’s who. Who was there when n*ggas left? N*gga, me, that’s who / Cash Money is an army, I’m a one man army / And if them n*ggas comin’ for me, I’m goin’ out like Tony …”Now I don’t want no problems, I just want my money – Birdman Jr., more like Ugly Duckling.” (“CoCo” Freestyle)

Last week, rap veteran Master P addressed whether or not Wayne could possibly land at No Limit Records

“This is definitely historical,” Master P said in an interview when asked if Wayne could find himself doing more work with him. “We never did nothing [like this,] it’s No Limit 24 anniversary. So we call it No Limit 24k. Anything is possible but Wayne is making good music. I rapped on his record, he rapped on my ‘Power’ record and we’re going to build a relationship. From here, wherever it go – it’s all official over here.” (“Sway In The Morning”)

Keeping an optimistic view, Young Money’s Christina Milian said she hoped Baby and Weezy would patch up their problems earlier this month.

“It’s a little difficult,” she said. “I’m on the same record label. I’m on Young Money, so it’s a little difficult when it comes to business. I understand the circumstance for all of them. I think everyone’s trying to work it out and I wish the best. Honestly it’s been an empire that has been built between Baby and with Lil Wayne. You can only hope for the best and big things for the both of them, that they continue this grind that they have. They basically paved the way for people like myself having the opportunity to become successful. I pray it all works out. I know he prays the same thing, nothing but the best.” (The Hollywood Reporter)

  1. well at the end of the day Nicki na Drake is there because of wayne. i doubt they would give a f-ck about baby, if it wasn’t for wayne, nicki and drake is wayne artists anyways.

    • I agree with you 100%. Wayne really brought back up the Cash Money brand. I seriously doubt any young artist that had as much buzz as Drake or Nicki would have gone to Cash Money if Wayne was not involved.

  2. Nicki say CM get 6 albums…..what number is she on? i can see Baby not letting them go. they will have same issues Wayne is having now with Baby on his part out of spite. dis gon get ugly and its sad

    • A full on Cash Money vs Young Money war, legal battles and all.
Tyga and Wayne already started, the rest will follow

  3. doesn’t matter what wayne thinks,,,it matters what the paperwork says and babys is probly airtight,,,remember what pusha t said”you signed to a ni**a that’s signed to another ni**a” etc etc

  4. It’s good to see people stand up for themselves when they realize they are being wronged. They need to make an example out of Baby so that these greedy ass dudes raping these artists know that it can come back around to bite them.
