Wayne’s video leaked online early Thursday (March 3) morning.

Originally set to premiere last month, Lil Wayne’s music video for his new single “6 Foot 7 Foot” has finally arrived on March 3 very early in the morning. It’s directed by Hype Williams and features cameos from Cory Gunz, his father Peter Gunz and the other Young Money crew. Recorded for Weezy’s forthcoming studio album “Tha Carter IV”, the song also becomes his first post-prison single. The rapper knew there would be much attention given to the track, so he used it to introduce his new Young Money signee Cory. (Ace Showbiz)

The video has been compared to Jay-Z‘s “On To The Next One” Blueprint III visual.

After several delays, the video for Lil Wayne’s biggest post-prison hit, “6 Foot 7 Foot,” aka “‘A Milli'” on steroids,” is here. And it’s actually here kind of prematurely as it was set to debut tonight on MTV. But you’re seeing it here first courtesy of the folks at OnSMASH, who clearly got their hands on the video a bit early. The visuals were directed by Hype Williams, who thankfully did not employ the seizure-inducing tactics seen in Kanye West‘s “All of the Lights.” Instead, “6 Foot 7 Foot” resembles an updated, more colorful version of Jay-Z’s “On to the Next One,” with the devilish makeup, slowed-down visual metaphors, and all. Those gripes aside, it’s still fun to watch. (Prefix Mag)

The music video’s premiere was offset last month.

Lil Wayne fans will have to wait a little longer to see his latest creation. Originally set to debut the Hype Williams-directed video for “6 Foot 7 Foot” on Thursday, the premiere has been postponed while Weezy puts the finishing touches on the clip. The new air date is currently unknown, but photos taken on set hint at what can be expected, with the Cash Money rapper playing a boxer in one scene. (Rap-Up)

The clip was initially slated to premiere tonight at 8 PM EST. on February 10th.

On Thursday at 8 p.m. ET MTV and MTV.com will air “MTV First: Lil Wayne”, a video-premiere event during which fans can see out the debut of the “6 Foot 7 Foot” clip, as well as go behind-the-scenes of the Hype Williams-directed visual, which was shot in Miami and features upstart lyricist Cory Gunz, who will be featured in the upcoming MTV docu-series “Son of a Gun”. Immediately following the premiere, Wayne will also sit down with MTV News’ Sway for his first live interview since he was released from prison last year. (MTV)
