Rathern than keeping an upbeat outlook, Weezy said Republicans will never fully embrace Democrats.

“You learn from what the right-wing is doing and you take something from it,” Wayne tells VIBE. “I feel like as a people the most that we can do is better ourselves and learn. Then look at yourself and ask ‘Am I the person they’re talking about or am I not?’ You have to make the most of who you are because the Republicans are never going to like us.” (VIBE)

He also co-signed the notion of having an African American president plays into the negative conservative attitude.

Wayne added that the right-wings’ at times blatant disrespect of the oval office has more to do with Obama’s racial make-up than his policies. He admits that while he understands the criticism over the President’s handling of the economy, he says some of the talk has gone beyond politics. “I don’t think I have to say that for everybody to know that,” Wayne says. A few months ago, Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco called President Barack Obama the nation’s biggest terrorist.

“In my fight against terrorism, to me, the biggest terrorist is Obama in the United States of America,” Fiasco said in an interview. “For me, I’m trying to fight the terrorism that’s actually causing the other forms of terrorism. The root cause of the terrorism is the stuff that you as a government allow to happen and the foreign policies that we have in place in different countries that inspire people to become terrorists. And it’s easy for us because it’s really just some oil, which we can really get on our own.” (CBS News)

Earlier this summer, rapper Jay-Z gave his assessment on how Barack has done as the country’s leader as of late.

Speaking to a small room of music journalists just hours before the Labor Department released its monthly jobs report, which found national unemployment numbers rising to 9.2 percent in the month of June, Jay-Z said of the criticism, “He’s the president, it’s fair.” “You gotta fix [the country’s current climate],” Jay-Z continued. “Can’t fix it all in one day. Numbers don’t lie, it’s f*cked up out there. Unemployment is still high.” Jay-Z then proceeded to joke about how Obama should have allowed him to deliver the news of Osama Bin Laden’s death on May 1. Acting as if he were speaking at a press conference, Jay-Z adopted the accent of a street tough and said, “He was a threat, you know what I mean? We handled that.” He delivered the line and laughed.
