Weezy F. Baby hopped onto his Twitter page to show love to his diehard supporters for picking up the latest addition to his Dedication series.

“I appreciate every single 1 of y’all who downloaded that D5 & I appreciate everyone who fux wit it!! Love ya!! I do it for u.,” he tweeted September 1 night. (Lil Wayne’s Twitter)

D-Day has finally arrived. After a slight delay, Lil Wayne serves up the soundtrack to your Labor Day weekend with Dedication 5. The fifth installment in his DJ Drama-hosted series features a whopping 29 tracks including remixes to “New Slaves,” “Levels,” and “Feds Watching,” plus appearances from T.I., 2 Chainz, The Weeknd, Birdman, Future, and more. The follow-up to 2012’s Dedication 4 was originally set to drop on Friday, but was postponed so Wayne could make some last-minute additions. (Rap-Up)

According to reports, Wayne’s need to make changes forced the project to miss its scheduled release last week.

You’ll have to wait a lil’ longer for Lil Wayne’s new mixtape. The Young Money chief has postponed the release of Dedication 5. The DJ Drama-hosted project was set to drop at 5 p.m. EST today, but has been delayed to an unspecified time. The announcement was made on YoungMoney.com. “The release of Dedication 5 has been temporarily postponed for a short period while Wayne puts finishing touches on it – including another new song. Stay tuned for an update,” read the message. However, Young Money president Mack Maine said the wait would not be too long. “Delayed for a few hours not days and weeks,” he tweeted. (Rap-Up)

In anticipation of its drop, Weezy F. Baby’s team released a Dedication-themed trailer and announced a 5 PM EST premiere for Friday.

In the video above, you can watch the trailer for Lil Wayne’s upcoming Dedication 5 mixtape, which will drop tomorrow at 5PM EST. So far, we know that Weezy F Baby has rapped over the “New Slaves”, “F*ckin’ Problems”, “F*ckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt”, “Type Of Way”, and “Bugatti” instrumentals for D5.
