Wayne popped up at the Thunder versus Grizzlies Game 3 match-up over the weekend.

Lil Wayne was spotted courtside this afternoon during the game between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder. While Weezy’s team is the Los Angeles Lakers, the Lakers were swept in the first round, and the New Orleans rapper has shown a tendency to take sides due to personal grudges with teams or their superstars. Less than a week after partying with Chicago Bulls players due to his disdain for members of the Miami Heat squad, it looks as if Weezy was showing some support to the Grizzlies today due to the fact that he was mistreated by Oklahoma City during last year’s playoffs. Be on the lookout for possible pictures of Wayne and Zach Randolph hanging out at some point in the next couple of days. (Complex)

The Young Money head boasted about yesterday’s Grizzlies 87-81 win in Memphis on Twitter.

“Ain’t nothin but a whole lotta luv out here in Memphis!! And dat was a dam good game that’s what the playoffs all about!,” Wayne tweeted Saturday (May 11). (Lil Wayne’s Twitter)

Earlier in the week, Wayne celebrated with the Chicago Bulls after they won Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Miami Heat.

Lil Wayne still hates the Miami Heat so much … he hooked up the Chicago Bulls with free booze after they upset LeBron James and company — and TMZ got a pic of their celebration. It all went down Monday night at Excess Mondays at Mansion nightclub in Miami where, we’re told, Wayne invited a few Bulls players (who were already in the club) to party with him … just hours after they beat the Heat 93-86. The guys with Weezy were (left to right) — Mack Maine (pres. of Young Money Entertainment) … along with Bulls’ Taj Gibson, Richard Hamilton, Vladimir Radmanovic and Nazr Mohammed. (TMZ)

In last year’s playoffs, the Young Money head ran into a messy conflict when his Lakers took on the Thunder in the Western Conference Finals.

The rapper said two Thunder players – Kevin Durant and James Harden – had reached out to offer him tickets to Saturday’s fourth game of the Western Conference Finals. “That’s not the point, though,” he told The Associated Press in an interview Friday night. “It’s the players stepping up but of course the players aren’t white. I don’t want to be sitting there on behalf of you and I’m sitting next to a (person) that’s like ‘I don’t want this (guy) sitting next to me.’ (Forget) you … I’m in Forbes,” he said, laughing. He said he typically procures tickets for such games “from this guy named Mike.” Lil Wayne said Mike had requested special security, parking and entrance for the rapper, but Mike said the team responded that they would only sell the seats for Mike’s personal use.
